Class Descriptions

Challenge

9-10:15 A.M.

Class operates at a high intensity fitness level. Athletes in our Challenge class tend be at early stage PD. Athletes will be challenged in all areas of fitness while participating in boxing workouts. Athletes must be able to easily transfer up and down from the floor and will perform exercises like sit ups, pushups, squats, planks, and more.

Basic 1

10:30-11:45 A.M.

Our Basic 1 class is for our athletes that still want a challenge but at a moderate level. Athletes in our Basic 1 class are typically at the mid-stages of PD, while still fully participating in all our gym has to offer. Athletes must be able to easily transfer up and down from the floor and will perform exercises like sit ups, pushups, squats, planks, and more (with plenty of modifications).

Basic 2

12-1:15 P.M.

Our Basic 2 class challenges our athletes in the more advanced stages of PD. Many exercises are completed seated for safety. Assistive devices are always welcome. For those athletes that need physical support during class, for instance, when getting up from a chair, walking, or during standing activities, a loved one or care partner must accompany them and act as a “cornermen.”
